HOW OFTEN ARE THERE UPDATES TO THE APP?
At least yearly to reflect any changes to exam structure or the curriculums they are built around. But more frequently if required. We aim to provide a hassle free environment that supports students. This will be reflected in every update.
IT ALL SOUNDS GREAT, BUT WHAT DOES THIS APP ACTUALLY DO?
You tell the study coach which times and days you want to work on preparation. The coach will remind you when it’s time. You will be guided through every section of the exam, provided with strategies and worked examples. There are lots of questions for you to try and short session practice when you can build on Maths skills and previous learning.
For those who choose to cram close to the exam, the study coach will provide the lessons likely to have the biggest impact on your marks.

Applying psychological principles of learning to App based exam preparation
Rightly or wrongly we use exams to measure learning attainment.
We would like everyone to have the best chance to succeed and so we designed this App, not just to guide you with strategies and a variety of teaching methods to help you make the concepts behind the question your own. But to teach in a guided way, which is inclusive to people with dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
HOW DID THE IDEA DEVELOP?
Every groundbreaking App begins with a series of small ideas that are combined into an all inclusive one.
As a tutor I was constantly asked the question: “How do I prepare?”. Although we began helping students sitting entry exams to study medicine, A level and GCSE students were asking the same question.
Students often have to go far and wide across the internet, libraries etc, to find the resources they need. We asked ourselves why isn’t there an App for this? Something which contains all the resources you need to prepare and teaches the strategies many students lack at exam time.
We also found that just giving students resources didn’t have a big impact on their ability to prepare and their motivation to learn. they also needed to understand how to apply those resources and someone to help them know what to do and when.
So we created the Study Coach to guide students through the entire process, from syllabus, to strategies and practice. Our team of incredibly bright minded individuals have dedicated an immense amount of time and effort to creating an App which is both interactive and targeted at exams. Providing detailed lessons and strategies at set times, and on the go preparation. Students will no longer need to blindly revise the entire syllabus and hope they covered the right topics come exam day.
With more students accessing private tutors for help, it will inevitably create a divide between the grades of those who can afford it and those who can’t. We hope our affordable App will provide support for people who can't afford tutors. So anyone willing to put the work in, can succeed.
